Hello and welcome to our blog! I love keeping up with my friends and family all over the country, but it is sometimes hard to keep up the lines of communication. I decided to write on this blog to post pictures and notes about what is keeping Nick and I running. :)
I cannot promise that I will keep up with it, but I'll give it a good try. (Seeing as I started this blog over a year ago, I will do my best...)
Some updates...
Nick: He is busy working for his regular job and for the company he owns with my brother. He has taken up a new sport: disc golf. Picture a large raised chain basket on a golf course hole. That is the "goal." Instead of hitting a golf ball, players throw discs that are similar, yet VERY different from frisbees. For his birthday, Nick got a portable goal that he can move around our backyard.
Michelle: I am very excited to be off the summer. This was a busy year with the change to the new national curriculum, Common Core, and learning that I made National Board Certification. I will be spending the summer tutoring and also getting our house ready for moving.
Mira: Our sweet older dog. She is now 4 years old. Mir-Mir enjoys the summer because she loves just lying on the deck sunning herself. She likes to play disc golf with Nick, however he can't stand it when she tries to steal his discs. Her all-time favorite thing is riding in the car.
Maggie: Our sweet little girl. Maggerpie is almost 2. She enjoys being near her Mama. She is becoming more attentive with her commands. The latest is "go to your bed." When she does something bad, all we have to do is point. She's smart enough to understand that she was wrong.
In April, Nick and I signed to start building a home. This is the main reason for starting this blog.
